Shah’s brings true New York street food energy to Ashburn with its lineup of gyros, salads, and sandwiches - all halal, hearty, and healthy. The falafel and hummus options make it vegetarian-friendly too, so everyone’s covered; from late-night snackers to those breaking fast at iftar. The décor is stylish; sleek shades of black, red, and white give it a modern, NYC-chic feel. Clean lines, spotless space, and a TV playing sports (at a reasonable volume) make it an easy hangout spot for everyone, from college students to families. A few small wishes: it’d be nice if they had a water station or vending machine (since bottled water is your only option), and maybe some candles for those spontaneous birthday baklava moments. But honestly, with food this good, it’s easy to overlook the little things.
