GoogleInside the old Caribbean Citation building in Anacostia is Nash & Smashed, a fast-food chain with smash burgers and fried chicken sandwiches. Street parking is easy to find on the side streets. Walk inside or order ahead of time. For lunch, I ordered the Honey Butter Buzz fried chicken sandwich. It took five minutes to make. It comes with two fried chicken breasts, cheese, and a bun. It was very tasty! If you love burgers and fried chicken sandwiches, go here or if you want a local alternative head to Roaming Rooster up the road in Skyland.
