The recommended halal Hui-owned beef noodles across from the Google Company on Eighth Avenue in Manhattan, as a person who grew up in Lanzhou, I instantly felt like I was back in Jinchengguan. The indescribable heart-warmingness and warmth suddenly brought back the memory of my stomach, the memory of the taste of my childhood? Barbecue is definitely the best in New York ?Recommended

The noodle here is very fresh, they made it on the spot. I can choose the thickness of my noodle, I would definitely recommend extra thin! It tastes very soft and smooth!

Came to get Lo Mein, come to find out Tangy Noodle is under new management or ownership and is switching to a Halal menu, which was a delightful surprise being that I'm Muslim. Had the pleasure of meeting one of the cooks, who I believe is Uyghur, which was another surprise as I've never met an Uyghur in person. He was happy to hear that I enjoyed my meal. The pilaf was excellent, though I will say the meat topping the pilaf could use some more flavor and juiciness. I quickly realized that combining the pilaf with the skewered lamb was an instant banger, as the lamb pieces were well seasoned and juicy. I wish I had taken a picture of the skewered lamb but I could not wait to devour it. I will be visiting again, multiple times, as they continue to expand their menu (they only had 3-4 items today, I believe it's their second day open). Very VERY excited about what Tangy Noodle has to offer, as the Muslim diaspora are lacking in a variety of meals in the West, it's either gyro, Indian, or chicken. The prices and flavors will do wonders for the many Muslim working class who have yet to try authentic Chinese. Big fan, and thank you to the kind waiter for offering me free boba for some reason. Much love. PS-- I will be coming back with a better camera because my temporary android phone did not do the food justice.

A tangy-tacular meal!

The soup is so good!!!! And they gave a lot of meat… So glad to see a Chinese halal restaurant in NYC that is owned by minorities. Definitely will be visiting more often and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend
