One of my favorite Indian restaurant in NYC. The venue is a bit small, but the food is really good. Get the Pomfret Fish dish if you can.
Outstanding food, service, quality, truly one of the best Indian restaurants in the world. Lemon chicken, tikka masala, pain puri, Biriyani, mango lassi, gobi Manchurian, all are top notch. I will gladly spend my time and money here everyday of the week if I could .
This restaurant turned out to be a hidden gem. We ordered pani puri, masala shrimp for appetizers and I highly recommend both. The chicken biryani was a showstopper. I have to jackfruit kadi was good if you're willing to try and unusual spin on a traditional kadi. .
My first time at Gazab and I loved it. It’s the Ondian food version of Soothr. Fun, hip, casual and delicious. We ate the bok choy chaat which tasted like a samosa chaat. So many excellent flavors. The whole fish was such a fresh, large entree. The onions and chutney mixed beautifully with the fish. The cauliflower was a 10/10. The lemon chicken was saucy, tender and I really enjoyed it. It was probably our least exciting dish but still tasty.
Great Indian food at this small local place which we found by accident. Great service and not too pricy. Some classic Indian dishes and some we saw for the first time, and the one we tried was unique and delicious!
The food was overall very delicious. The dishes were full of flavors, and the chicken and the goat meat were very tenderized and rich in flavors! The waiters and waitresses were also very friendly. It was our first time trying at an Indian restaurant so they gave us recommendations and ways to eat the dishes!
one of my favorite Indian restaurants in this city and that's saying a lot! I'd recommend the paneer appetizer, it comes on skewers and is well spiced for entree I love the jackfruit kadhi pakora as it's such a unique dish to this restaurant. everything about the dish is very flavorful. I would also recommend the black daal. so buttery and creamy it just melts in your mouth. the atmosphere is very small and cozy, I feel that it would be very hard to host a larger group at this location unfortunately but a group of 6 is well accommodated
This place is the best Indian restaurant in New York City! That's right, you heard me correctly! Gazab offers the finest Indian cuisine in Manhattan's Lower East Side, featuring refined versions of Indian staples, sharing plates, and a wide range of vegan options. I love Pani Puri, Shrimp Ghee Roast, Chipotle Chicken Tikka, and Whole Tandoori Pomfret. All appetizers we tried were so yummy. Ummm I can’t stop eating hahahaha For the main course, I love Kasauli Lemon Chicken, fall-off-the-bone Parsi Lamb Shank, and savory Kerala Shrimp Moilee. O can tell you that the quality and variety of dishes already blow me away! I enjoyed every bite. The service was so nice and kind.
