Munch Austin

This is a completely halal joint serving hamburgers, sandwiches, and salads. Demerits for the absence of a bathroom. There are 3 tables there, seating 2-4 people each, and additional seating is available outside. Parking is available on street but is somewhat hard to come by, so leave the 2003 Bentley Arnage T at home. This author tried the Wild Wild West Burger ($9), about a 6oz. patty on a brioche bun topped with Swiss cheese, mushrooms, and grilled onions and served with French fries. The hamburger was very good; the patty was perfectly grilled but unseasoned (as American burgers go), but the toppings made up for that. The French fries are thin and crispy (and pretty salty). This is a great place to go for a quick meal or take-out, but larger crowds will find themselves with nowhere to sit.

Wow! This place is amazing. Gourmet fast food. Fresh beef burgers with real meat not the frozen restaurant depot ones. The wings are enormous. Had the 5-Alarm Burger and two types of wings. Small place but very clean with a contemporary look and feel. Hopefully the future of Halal places will look like MUNCH.

Great little place for halal burgers, sandwiches, pizza and much more. We've tried their pizza but our favorite are the burgers. The 5 Alarm burger (with crispy chicken) is awesome. The buns that they use on their burgers are fresh and hearty and the sauce brings everything together. The owner, I believe a Pakistani guy, is super nice and accommodating.

Awesome burgers. Very tasty food overall and great atmosphere. Clean restaurant. They charge for soda refills.

Great burgers and atmosphere. The owners are very helpful and kind along with the staff. Love the names of the burgers, and especially loved the Monster burger.
