what can i say about @mmgrill1, this is the spot for great food, I have never been disappointed here. this time we ordered the Hot Chopped Cheese, Fried Chicken Burger and the Chili Cheese Fries. first time trying the Hot Chopped Cheese and it was fantastic, very flavorful, fresh and had a kick to it. And for the Chili Cheese Fries, you just can't go wrong with that, perfect as always.
My family does not eat pork, so we chose this spot because it is halal. We were a little disappointed that the menu we viewed online was very different than the offerings at the restaurant. We were hoping to get enchiladas, falafel, and shawarma, but once we arrived, we were told that they discontinued everything except burgers and hotdogs. Since we had driven about 30 miles to eat here, we decided to try some things off the menu so it wouldn't be a wasted trip. We ordered the chili cheese hot dog, chopped cheese, 10 garlic parmesan chicken wings, and an order of fries. The food portions were decent for the price. The chili was seasoned well. The chopped cheese was good; it is a hoagie with sauteed ground beef, which was not overly seasoned. The fries were crinkle cut, with the right amount of crisp on the outside and fluffiness on the inside. They even had koolaid slushes. The only negative aspect of the food we ordered, pertained to the chicken wings. We don't consume a lot of salt but it didn't seem as if the chicken had any salt or seasoning applied to it prior to it being cooked. The coating on the chicken was minimal (which we liked) and the wings were fried nice and golden, but they were very bland. Overall, the experience was good and we'll probably return if we're in the area again, but we wouldn't order the wings again.
Amazing burger. I had and devoured the loaded cheeseburger, this dude was gone before I knew it, battered and fried onion and jalapeno slices, Ranch drizzle, pickles and loaded sauce....wow! My wife had the same thing but without the bun, it sat on a bed of shredded lettuce. We had a couple sugarfree fountain drinks. I've been searching out Htown's best burgers with the help of reviews and I think this one is my new #1. They have a cool mural on the wall. We'll be back for more of these goodies. Friendly people and tasty food.
Sadly, they no longer have Mexican food on the menu. It's mostly halal American menu. The mango habañero burger was very spicy, but tasty. It's messy though, had to finish with a fork.
It's a good burger but it didn't have mushrooms in it and was too many onions ?
A hidden gem. Should be on your list if you are interested in trying halal burger in Houston. Ample parking in the back.
Stopped here on the way out of town and the burgers are excellent. Super juicy so you need to have lots of napkins.
I had a chance to try the Loaded Swiss Mushroom Burger and the Fried Chicken Burger here, and both were solid choices. The Loaded Swiss Mushroom Burger was rich and flavorful, with perfectly melted Swiss cheese and a generous serving of mushrooms that added a savory, earthy taste. The crispy onion topping brought a nice crunch, and the ranch drizzle tied it all together beautifully. It’s a hearty, satisfying burger for mushroom lovers. The Fried Chicken Burger was a pleasant surprise—crispy on the outside yet juicy inside. The chicken had a great seasoning, and the fresh toppings added a nice balance to the richness of the fried patty. Overall, the place delivers on quality and flavor, and their variety ensures there’s something for everyone. A good spot for both beef and chicken fans!
