Massaya Mediterranean Grill

This location is closed now. A new restaurant has been opened. Baba's Mediternean Grill. Not sure about the halalness of the new restaurant.

Food was simply amazing. Best food I have had in Houston area. Their ordering process is a bit uncomfortable specially if you have to carry small kids with you. Other than that, it was really really good.

I love the food here. I've been to many Fadi's across Houston. All of them are amazing. The service is also really good. I love the juices and the hummus here. They have many options and a nice private long table on the side that can fit about 20-30 people for big groups. Overall, the experience is really good and so is the food.

A good chain of restaurants. I prefer the sugar land location. A little on the pricey side for mediterranean food but definitely a regular on my list

Although a huge fan of mediterranean/lebanese food I think fadis is way over hyped. Decent food but not worth the price.

This place is GREAT. You get HUGE portions of food and they are not expensive at all! Always plenty for leftovers. Every thing I've ever had has been really good. I never cared for falafel until this place

Was visiting Houston from the UK on a business trip, was staying downtown so had to make do for a week on Veg/Sea Food. Found out about Fadis, and paid a visit on Friday night. Was a nice place inside, although the Canteen style layout threw me off at first. The chap behind the food counter was helpful, but the cashier chap the opposite! It had a nice atmosphere inside with various mixed groups, and me on my own! Overall food quality was decent, was great getting Halal meat finally! However, having frequented many lebanese restaurants in London I thought the overall food quality wasn't quite up to those standards. However, I would happily return!

Everyone extolls the virtues of Fadi's, but not me, because I think it's overpriced for the portions. If anyone remembers Wyatt's cafeteria or Luby's, you'll know what I'm talking about, so this "cafeteria" really isn't all that. The meat and chicken are that great for the price, so I get the fish instead. The hummus is too thin and really doesn't have a lot of flavor. And like was said earlier, the cashiers barely acknowledge you and the non-fountain drinks are way overpriced. I only come here when my friends insist.

Fadi's chain is probably one of the best Lebanese style food restaurant in Houston and Texas. Their food is very consistent, and very clean. They have cafteria style setting and sandwiches. I am familiar with their falafel, shawrma and kafta sandwiches, and they make it like in Lebanon.

Very Disappointed! We have been going here because "All Halal/Zabiha" listing. When did that Change!

Food is above average, but their cashier service sucks. I can tell you that their line crew is great, they are fast and efficient but their cashiers and managers suck big time. Most females cashiers they have up there have these giant attitudes. Managers are always on phones while taking your money or talking to multiple people at a time. They don't give their customers any respect. That is the reason I have stopped going to this location.

Excellent food, A bit pricey but i tried their chicken shawarma and got to say i've never had a shawarma this good. All in all theyir food is good and the place is nice except for if they could add couple of grill items to what they had to make it a perfect mediterranean place...

Salem, I have never been there but I ate Fadi's food when Almeda masjed ordered food for the sisters' darss. I am sorry but what we got was really BAD in capital! Is that the real quality of their food or was it just made especially for us? I don't even need to know the answer. In both cases I will not go. Salem

EXCELLENT food! Oh I just love it! A little pricey but I can let that go simply due to the fact that they have great customer service, awesome food quality, and a pretty decent interior. I'm not a strict Zabiholic, but prefer it if it's in the vicinity. I don't believe this place serves Zabihah for all you people interested in Zabihah. I don't mean to get into an argument like the one up here, so feel free to have a blind faith in their doubtful and inconvincible tone. Last I went there, I had to discuss the difference between Halal and Zabihah to the Arab cashier there as he seemed to not be clear about the term Halal. He kept insisting that all I know is that it's Halal. I'm sure we all know a lot of Muslims have different definitions of the term Halal, some simply consider anything non-pork to be Halal.

ok brother, if you beleive that becuase i didnt write any further reviews then Allah Almighty is a witness of what I am going to say now. 1) First of all, I am not in a position or a place nor I have the righ to go and ask a person why he is buying whatever he is buying. 2) I live in West Point complex which is near to that area, the wall mart I am talking about is behind the restaurant and it on Dunvale. 3) As from what I saw, the quantity of meat he bought was more for a restaurant, secondly, restrants always run out of materials. So they can easily get it from nearby shops, if you dont beleive me ask any restaurant owenr how they fuliful thier order. At the end i ate alot there, I dont have any intrest in FADI whatsoever, if you want to eat, please do so. But remmber, Prophet SAW said to avoid any SUBHAH(Doubt) to be safe. It is upto you who to believe and where to eat.

Great variety of food. Authentic taste. Nice to come as a group since everyone finds something they like. Very nicely decorated. Love their fresh warm bread.

atufail, why didn't you say something to him then? I'm not inclined to believe accusations like this, especially from people that have written one review total. Who was the owner and in which walmart did you see him? what kind of meat was he buying in how big a quantity? Does walmart even sell large quantities of meat? It doesn't make sense for a restaurant owner to supply his restaurant from walmart, that's for sure. by the way, the food is great here!

WARNING, I saw the Manager of FADI buying frozen meat in large quantity from Wall Mart and taking it back to the store. Please be aware this is not ZABIAHA meat. This Arab interpertation of Halal to just say in name of Allah to eat. DONT GO THERE.

Ate here on a business trip -- it was really, REALLY good! Excellent hummus, Fatoosh and kabobs. However, it was a LOT of food!

Food is excellent. My husband and I go there a couple of times a month.

I'm a regular at this place, and their food is always good. However, if you liked a certain dish like roast beef the first time you went...the chances are you won't find the same thing the next time you go. Roast beef is great! I will agree with some of the other patrons on the fact that their portions have getting smaller and their prices have steadily been increasing. Nonetheless, it is a clean place, easy access, and tons of parking.

I've been here several times and I'm always happy with what I get there. It is a favorite among my friends. There is always a wide selection of food. The price is reasonable.

The food is very clean and that matters to me, prices are excellent for the quantity I got. I go there every week because its a good place.

it is a over pricy. you cant afford to eat ther often. they should keep the prices so an average person can go more frequently

I went to eat at Fadis last Monday, only because of the "vegetarian friendly" menu choices. I got the Vegetarian delight coliflower, and as i was finishing the dish i found a piece of bone! in my bowl. I was disgusted - to say the least - and told the server about it. He didn't utter a word. Nothing. Not even "I'm sorry". I few days later I called the manager (it took me a few days to recover) and the manager hung up on me... Gues i am not going back to this not-so-vegetarian friendly restaurant, and neither are any of my 12+ vegetarian friends.

Food is great tasting and a lot of it at both locations of Fadi's. Just be careful as the cashier sometimes get "trigger happy" and hit the key one too many times, BUT NOT ON PURPOSE, they are just so busy.... I would and do go there often with family and even christian co-workers.

"Fadi's is one of the best cafeteria style restaurants I have ever been to. The food is definately one of the most scruptious tasting food ever served. Their salads are perfect, and the chicken is mouth watering. The service is excellent. If I knew when I was going to die, I'd eat my last meal here."

Absolutely the most amazing food ever! Eat here once and you will find yourself craving it for days later. Buffet style with orders available a la carte. Make sure to try their desserts and tea to finish off your meal. Hummus is mindblowing.
