Café De Khan is a family-owned restaurant with a generational legacy. Cafe De Khan was known as the radiant culinary flame with a blazing promise of innovation in the culinary industry. To continue the legacy, Cafe De Khan is franchising across North America. Where it all began from its inception in Peshawar in the 1930s, to its wild popularity in Karachi in the 1960s, for generations, Café De Khan has and will continue to serve good food with good times.

I recently dined at Cafe De Khan withy family and overall had a delightful experience. The food was impressive, with the exception of the mandi, which was a bit dry and contained chickpeas (a no-no for me). However, mixing it with other curries resolved the issue. The butter chicken was a highlight – fresh and with tender chicken. The Peshawari Kabab Masala, especially in the chicken option, stood out with its flavorful spiciness. The naan was soft and freshly made. The ambience was serene and quiet, with only two other families present, creating a relaxing dining experience. The service was commendable – we were greeted promptly, seated quickly, and everything happened in a timely manner. Despite the small letdown with the mandi, the overall experience at Cafe De Khan was enjoyable, thanks to the delicious food, pleasant atmosphere, and attentive service.
This restaurant is the worst I've encountered in my 40 years. They messed up my Uber Eats order twice. First, I received a bony, oily chicken dish instead of the boneless butter chicken I ordered. They apologized and promised to make it up to me. When I went to redeem the replacement, they gave me another incorrect dish – a bizarre concoction with grated carrots and boiled chicken in a watery yellow gravy. This is NOT butter chicken. They then told me they were only giving me one order, not the two I originally paid for. The manager/chef was unapologetic and dismissive. This establishment should be ashamed of their incompetence and terrible customer service. Save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere.
Today 1/4/25 they open their buffet and i believe i was the fitst one to visit th with my family. Love each and everything in food. Nihrahi has super tastes, i give the 5/5, Karahi Chicken, Dal Chawal, choley , puri everything authentic
The first time I encountered this place was when I went to pick up my food from Pikka Tikka, and they told me their main branch is in Carrollton. I got their chicken leg with mandi. It was very flavorful. I visited this place a few days ago to find out that they claim they are the father of “Chicken Tikka” in Pakisthan?????❕‼️ I usually visit Pakistani restaurants when I crave kebabs or tandoori. I trust them more than Indian places around. And this didn’t let me down. I would love to try more of their food because the spice level is on point.
Just bought the following items at Cafe De Khan in Carrollton. Bun Kabaab - 7 out of 10 Nihari - 7 out of 10 Tikka Karhai - 3 out of 10, you could tell the sauce was canned. Bihari Boti - 5 out of 10 Biryani - 2 out of 10, stale undercooked rice, meat looked like it was frozen and separate and some color thrown for authenticity. The plain rice was not Biryani rice but day old rice thrown together. Haleem - 1 out of 10 and it was frozen, I actually called the restaurant again and thr lady confirmed that it was indeed thawed out. A few more minutes in the microwave to thaw and after it thawed out, there was a smell. They do a good job of trying to communicate the authentic taste of Pakistan by the ring a bunch of nostalgic photos and posters but at $145 dollars this was the worst food I’ve ever tasted. Praying we don’t get sick!!
Updated review of new visit and rating We have tried brunch and daily menu deal after few days both were better than last visit. Nihari was good, bbq was way better, and kunna was also good. Sweet dish was slightly burnt ... rest was ok... bihari was improved in taste and now you say its bihari boti.
I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Cafe De Khan three times now and each time it just keeps getting better. Lunch time is enjoyable but dinner was extra! Fatima was our server and not only is she attentive but also makes the best recommendations. If you love spice and great service, make Cafe De Khan a must dine destination!
If I could give Cafe De Khan more than 5 stars, I absolutely would! This isn’t just dining—it’s a gastronomic journey you’ll be talking about for days. Let’s talk about the Chicken Together—pure perfection. Tender, flavorful, and spiced just right. It’s the kind of dish that makes you close your eyes after every bite. Then there’s the Beef Nihari—oh my, this is slow-cooked magic! The beef melted like butter in my mouth, and the gravy? A rich, flavorful masterpiece that felt like it had been simmered for hours with love. And then came the Combo Platter, the crown jewel of my experience. It wasn’t just a meal; it was a celebration of flavors! Every item worked together in perfect harmony, creating a symphony of taste that will forever be etched in my food memory. The ambiance? Warm, inviting, and full of good vibes. The staff? Attentive and welcoming, making the experience even better. Cafe De Khan isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a destination. If you haven’t been yet, trust me, it’s time to treat yourself. Go now, thank me later! #CafeDeKhan #FoodLoversParadise
