100%. The food is great and very authentic. Has all the familiar comforts of home cooked meal. The staff is very hospitable
I ordered the lamb biriyani to go. The lamb tasted great, the rice was seasoned. My preference would have been for them to separate the lamb from the rice. Overall the flavor of the meat was great, it was tender, and the rice was good as well.
Absolutely amazing experience! This restaurant makes the best Kabsah! flavorful, perfectly cooked, and absolutely delicious. The customer service was outstanding, with friendly and attentive staff making sure everything was just right. The atmosphere was great, and everything about the place was perfect. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic and delicious Kabsah or other Mediterranean food! انصح الكل يزورهم، الطعم ولا اروع وبسعر جداً مناسب!
I stopped in here today on a whim, during a post-appointment drive around Hilcroft. At about 11:30am, I had the luxury of being the only diner for about 15 minutes. The only staff I saw were a young server and the middle-aged chef, both soft-spoken gentleman with sweet energy. This is the kind of masculine energy I support. Kabsah’s menu is extensive. Apparently they serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner! I would imagine too that come Ramadan they might offer Iftar specials. I ordered the lamb Mandi and araisy drink. The server brought my meal on a metal platter under a metal dome, producing a dramatic reveal when he lifted it: a gargantuan portion of juicy chunks of falling-off-the-bone lamb atop golden rice. The food was every bit as good as it looked! Despite a recent dental procedure making chewing an ordeal for me, I was able to eat the buttery soft lamb & tender aromatic rice with no struggle. The portion could have easily served two, but I ate the whole thing because I was extremely hungry. The araisy was equally impressive. It was not too sweet and full of real strawberry and mango flavor. Plus, the bits of pear and pineapple in the bottom that had been marinating in the fruit purées were heavenly. My entire meal was just under $30. Unfortunately I didn’t know they only accept cash tips, and I had no cash with me. However, they weren’t upset, just polite and kind. Kabsah’s dining area is spotless, spacious, and modestly decorated. The restroom is impeccable. I hope to be back soon with a group, because this is one of the best halal dining experiences I’ve had in Houston.
Very good food. Tried this place for the first time and it was delicious. The bread was amazing, very airy and soft and not dry or hard like a cracker. The portions are generous as well. The tea and coffee station had good tea and coffee as well.
I had an amazing dining experience at [Kabsah]! The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor that set the perfect mood. The service was impeccable—our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being intrusive. The food was amazing ?
Ordered Lamb Mandi and Lamb Kabsah, lamb Mandi is just amazing with authentic taste of Arabian cuisine. Lamb Kabsab is fine too. But not as good as Mandi
This is my second time eating at Kansah, first time was in Orlando and it was impressive experience, so I was happy to see that the restaurant also opens in Houston. This food is amazing, lamb is extremely tender and juicy, you can’t find such dish anywhere else. Owner and staff are all very friendly. I will definitely come back again.
