I’ve ordered from Habibz Corner twice now, and both experiences were extremely disappointing. About a month ago, I ordered the Gorilla Fries and found a strand of hair in my food. I brushed it off as a possible mistake and didn’t say anything. Today I ordered again, and after eating for about ten minutes, something told me to check my food more carefully. To my shock, I found another small strand of hair almost identical to the one I found last time. I immediately threw the food out and decided I will never order from this restaurant again. I called the restaurant, and the person who answered explained that staff wear hair nets. Based on my repeated experience, this clearly isn’t enough, and it raises serious concerns about their overall food-handling practices. When I looked at other reviews afterward, I noticed that I’m not the only one other customers have also mentioned finding hair in their Gorilla Fries. I’m not someone who gets disgusted easily, but realizing I might have eaten food contaminated with hair more than once made me feel sick to my stomach. I will be warning family and friends and leaving reviews so others can be aware of my experience. I hope the restaurant takes this seriously and improves their hygiene standards. I will be 100% reporting this to Ontario’s food and health safety regulations.
