Went to Babel Grill House in Shoreditch late one evening just before closing. It was pretty quiet which was expected at that hour and made for a relaxed vibe. There were three of us and we ordered the Farrouj Meshwi charcoal grilled boneless chicken, lamb chops and lamb shank, all served with rice. Everything came out juicy, full of flavour and clearly fresh off the grill. The chicken was tender with a nice smoky char, the lamb chops were well seasoned and cooked just right and the lamb shank was rich and comforting, proper hearty food. The Red Bull mocktail was nice too which was a great addition. Even though we came in late, the experience still felt welcoming and unhurried. If you are after tasty grilled dishes and generous portions it is definitely worth a visit.
