GoogleTried halal gyukatsu for the first time and it did not disappoint š¤ The food was honestly so good, perfectly crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside. Every bite was super satisfying. The ambience was just as lovely too, cozy and comfortable, making it a great spot to just relax and enjoy the meal. I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and we both had such a great time. Definitely a memorable experience for a special occasion. Would come back again!

GoogleHad a memorable anniversary lunch at Gyusei Gyukatsu in Bugis with my partner. Perfect spot for special dates or family celebrations, hands-on grilling and killer flavours made it unforgettable. ā Right by Hotel Clover at 775 North Bridge Road, quick walk from Bugis MRT. Cozy minimalist space feels intimate, not rushed at all even with the 90-min limit. Staff nailed it, explaining dips and grilling patiently, plus they hooked us up with a complimentary Instax photo for our anniversary. I ordered the A5 Tenderloin Set, A5 Ribeye Set with the limited daily A5 Wagyu Tenders add-on fo, XL Hyogo Oysters, and free-flow Genmaicha Tea. Halal Nishi Awa Wagyu was melt-in-your-mouth tender, unlimited cabbage, miso soup, rice, and those 12 dips like yuzu kosho and fresh wasabi kept every bite exciting. ā The experience of grilling thick cuts on the mini wok which gave that perfect smoky crust, juicy and fully cooked. Oysters were fresh and plump, tea paired great. Left stuffed and happy, got a $20 voucher too which I'll pass along. 9.5/10, book ahead but bear in mind the no-show fee required. Highly recommend for fancy occasions or celebrating special moments!
