GoogleI recently dined at Na Rath Restaurant in Elmhurst, Queens, and overall it was a memorable experience with a few mixed notes. The highlights of the meal were definitely the steamed fish and the tom yum soup. The steamed fish was fresh, delicate, and perfectly seasoned — tender and flavorful without being overpowering. The tom yum soup was outstanding: rich, aromatic, and perfectly balanced with that signature spicy and tangy kick. Both dishes really showcased authentic flavors and were the stars of the table. The service was amazing from start to finish. The staff was attentive, friendly, and quick to respond to anything we needed. They made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the meal. The ambience was also great — clean, cozy, and lively without being too loud, making it a nice spot for both casual dinners and small gatherings. The only downside was the crab salad. While it tasted fine at the time, I unfortunately felt unwell afterward and experienced some stomach issues. It may have just been an isolated incident, but it’s worth noting. Overall, Na Rath Restaurant offers delicious dishes, excellent service, and a great atmosphere. I’d definitely return for the steamed fish and tom yum soup, but I might skip the crab salad next time.
