GoogleA hidden halal western treat Chicken cutlet ($9.90) - 7.5/10 Batter was light and meat within was succulent and savoury. A mildly surprising find. Fried Chicken wings ($1.80/piece, min 2) - 6.5/10 Meat was juicy but slightly lacking in the flavour department but batter still proved to be light and crisp. Service - 7/10 Nothing to shout about. No qualms had here.

GoogleNot many Halal western πππ₯©stalls in Toa Payoh so Chops & Sear is probably going to be without much competition for a bit but letβs see π what I got and how did it go. Restaurant : Well not really a restaurant but it is located in a Singapore πΈπ¬ Coffeeshop and that is just a norm here. Itβs more of a stall rather than a restaurant. So, the cleanness π«§π§Ό is highly dependent on the company the coffee shop outsources to clean. Overall, not too bad. π Only issue I see is getting a table. When I visited, it was jammed packed at lunch time on a Sunday. (We were happy π to share a table) Staff : Friendly dude π±πΎββοΈ, took my order π, paid π΅ and gave me a receipt π§Ύ and a beeper π¨ . He proceeded to cook π§πΎβπ³ my orders. He was alone when I visited so I sensed the frustration π€― but he still managed a smile π. Food : We ordered the Seared Norwegian Salmon π with Garlic π§ Aioli ($13.50), Grilled Chicken πChop with Thyme π± ($8.50) and Australia π¦πΊ Beef π₯© Patty Brioche Burger π($10.50). Wait time β³is not very long. The portions are huge! (See my pics πΈ and video πΉ) The pricing may be just over $10 for a coffee shop but the portions are huge! Almost overflowing a fairly large plate π½οΈ. I personally had the Australian Beef Patty Burger and I love π it! Fat and Juicy, it was well cooked and came to me tender and hot β¨οΈ! Loaded with salty π§ fries π + veg π₯, it was an amazing meal π. To make this comparison, just across the street ποΈ is Mc Donalds, why would I even consider Mc Donalds over them? I also feel their cooking skills and quality are really good. If I could, I would easily be in the π 3οΈβ£ western meal stalls in Toa Payoh! π #halalwesternmeal #besthalalwesternintoapayoh
