GoogleI had an amazing experience at Darjeeling Kitchen and Cafe in Long Island! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere instantly transported me to Darjeeling—the décor, the vibe, and the cozy ambiance made it feel like a little getaway. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home and attentive to all our needs. This was our first time trying the restaurant, and I was pleasantly surprised by the unique flavors. The food was deliciously different in the best way! We tried the Chicken Thali and Rildok, and both were absolutely fantastic. The spices and preparation felt authentic, and the portions were generous. Knowing that all the food is Halal gave us extra peace of mind and made the experience even better. What I loved most was how the cafe balances authenticity with a welcoming environment for everyone—it’s clear that a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. It’s rare to find a place that combines excellent taste, quality service, and a great vibe all at once. We left feeling completely satisfied and excited to come back. There’s so much on the menu we still want to try, and I’m already looking forward to our next visit.
