I recently visited Masakali and had a really great dining experience. It’s a refined Indian restaurant with a nice atmosphere and very well-presented dishes. For starters we ordered the Peppery Chicken and the Lamb Bara. The lamb chops were perfectly grilled, tender and full of smoky flavour, while the peppery chicken had a great balance of spice and seasoning. For mains we had the Old Delhi Butter Chicken and the Lamb Biryani. The butter chicken was rich, creamy and full of flavour, exactly how you’d expect from a classic dish. The lamb biryani was fragrant with well-spiced rice and tender pieces of lamb. For drinks we tried the Virgin Strawberry Mojito and the Mango Affair mocktail, both refreshing and nicely balanced. To finish, we had Rasmalai Tres Leches, along with lychees and ice cream, which was a great sweet ending to the meal. Overall the food quality, presentation and atmosphere were excellent. It’s definitely a great spot in London if you’re looking for elevated Indian cuisine or a refined dining experience. I would happily visit again.
