About Baba Dari

Formally known as Ali Baba’s, a local Mediterranean restaurant that delivers a great tasting variety of food to homes, offices, and dorm rooms in the Ann Arbor area has recently undergone a transformation. After proudly serving their customers for nearly 25 years, the restaurant is being passed to the next generation. This building is very familiar to their childhood and where the journey first started. Baba Dari Mediterranean Grill carries on the legacy!

i have been there yesterday, i asked the waiter whether food is zabiha or not he said food is halal but he cannot confirm if it is zabihaor not. so be careful with this resturant that portrays itself as the food provider who provide halal/zabiha meat. I am sure lot of asian muslims like me eat there b/c of the false impression of halal/zabiha maet. So next time you go into any resturant ask if the meat is zabiha or not. They claim they providea halal meat i.e cow , goat so muslims can eat them.Infact it is not zabiha so practicing muslims csnnot eat it.

Not everything is Halal, on a hot day their air conditioning was average. It's not a very tidy place. The food is average as well.
