Absolutely the best late night quality shawarma / falafel you can get in the city of Toronto. The food quality was absolutely outstanding and great size portions - large variety on the menu where you can pick and choose items for your platter, pastries were great too. The owner was very kind, welcoming and accommodating. The restaurant itself was very clean with ample seating. Parking may be a bit of a challenge but well worth the travel - also the surrounding neighborhood is pretty cool too ( lot of late night spots that are open nearby ). Would highly recommend - can not beat the quantity / quality / price.

The owner is Muslim and I know him very well. I can assure you that the meat is Halal. He was actually dissapointed when people were saying that it was not Halal. Excellent food, I recommend it fully.

I went in one day and asked about the source of their halal meat. First the lady at the counter says its from Morocco! Then I ask her again very clearly, then she said she has no idea what halal is! I asked for the phone number of the store owner, she wouldnt give it to me!I would urge you all to check with the halal authenticity of that store.

"The Falafels are good. It's worth the walk from the St.George Campus (About 15 min from Robarts). Nice atmosphere, and nice service."

Best shawarms I have ever had... Beef and Chickens for $3.50 + tax and Falafals for $2.00 + tax. Its located on Bloor between Spadina and Bathurst.
