Subway at Sandbrook Park is open 24 hours, which is really handy, especially in 2026 when fewer and fewer places are open around the block. This particular location is comfortable, modern and follows the new Subway appearance of the store, so it feels fresh. On my recent visit, it was very quiet, and I ordered my usual Subway order, a jacket potato with tuna and cheese, with seasoning and some salad. The sandwich artist seemed friendly enough, but she didn’t talk much. At other locations, after letting them know about me being gluten-free, they usually wipe things down, including the ovens; she just changed her gloves, everything looked clean enough though, and it is possible she’d done it before I entered the store, as they were quiet, but again the visual aid is what reassures me. I do think more care in placing the toppings could have helped; it seemed the cheese had mainly clumped onto the potato, it became really stringy, and I was picking it away while eating. Also, the butter wasn’t spread properly across the potato, so parts were dry. The salad didn’t taste as fresh as usual, too, so the food quality could certainly have been better. Honestly, this Subway has potential for sure with the opening hours, and actually having a modern, clean, comfortable interior, it just needs a slight bit more care and attention to the service and food preparation side of things, and I would return in the future.
