Darbars caters for all events and functions. Shabhaz Ganny (also known as Darbar) is the well known owner of the establishment. Many events at mosques on Queens and Long Island are catered by Darbars, which can also cater foods that are not on the menu. Call for any questions or comments.

I go here almost all the time. Alhamduliiah great food and service - miss valley stream
Not fast service, order ur food beforehand if u are a regular like me, love the fried chicken and fried rice, going for years, halal and good practicing Muslim owners.
Love the food! Great service. Always go there =)
Lovely! Just lovely!.... The food is fresh, service is good, you have to order ahead because they make the food on the spot... And the staff is very very friendly.... Had many great experiences... Vast menu spanning from all American cheese burgers to imported Chinese( chicken N broccoli) as well chicken n rice gyro is slamming but make sure you order ahead! But it's worth the wait. As a matter a fact I'm going to order some honey BBQ wings for tonights Miami v Spurs game
Good food but hole in the wall joint. To go option is the best way to enjoy the food.
Excellent food, must try there house special fried rice, chicken sandwich, Gyros, lamb chops and Chinese stir fry, yummy yum! There friend chicken is unbelievable a must eat for every chicken lover out there. I will highly recommend this place to anyone. Just be sure to have some time since they serve fresh food not fast food. Enjoy!

the food was excellent just the way you want it...love the service...parking wasnt a problem and the mix gyro with french fries was really awesome. loved the the beef lo mien and a great environment very friendly
i tired this place after recommendation from the masjid and people. I didn't enjoy the food, i thought it was just okay. the service of the people was horrible. they just didn't care if they dont know you. didn't feel welcomed at all.
Alhamdulillah the food here is excellent, affordable and right next to the masjid [which also has parking]. Staff is friendly and helpful. Try their gyro over rice.
Alhamdulillah, this is a great restaurant, however i didn't have a great experience when i went there, ill give it another try, but i didn't enjoy it
Darbars is one of the Best Resturants I have been to. The food is Freshly made just the way you like it, Basically they will accomodate their food to you liking. But remember their known to sell FRESH Food and not Fast Food, so a word to the wise.. Please call in your order ahead of time, so you don't have to wait. My Personal Favorites Include - Grilled Chicken Sandwiches, Chicken Gyros Rice, HBBQ & Hot Wings & to top it off a Triple chocolate cake w/ a scoop of vanilla ice cream..mmmmm.. Yummmy! 5 out 5 stars!
One of the finest thing about Darbar's are the beef burgers. Properly made and very delicious. The owner is great. they also have other great selection. please check it out if in queens.
They have a new cheese steak sandwich (your choice of beef or chicken) and it is extremely good. It's very spicy though. The fried rice, burgers, beef ribs, chicken sandwich, and of course fried chicken are still really good. Their fries gives McDonald's a run for their money. My brother goes here a couple times a week and he doesn't even eat halal.
Great Food, Great Prices , you have to taste it to believe it and its all fresh.
fried chicken are the good,so are the burgers
i love the chicken sandwiches
Awesome food and awesome prices. The fried chicken was one of best I ever had and the hot wings were really good too. The food is prepared fresh so it takes a while, call ahead if you don't want to wait.
Pretty solid spot with affordable food if you're not looking to break the bank just for having lunch. The place is medium sized, with enough room to eat in which was no problem to me since there were only 2 other customers in the spot at the time. I wasn't really sure what to order at the moment so I went for Chicken w/ Rice, Mozzarella sticks and Mango lemonade. The Chicken and Rice looked kinda messy, also not a fan of the amount of onions they put in there but don't let the setup of the food fool you, it's pretty good with the white sauce being a complimentary condiment for the salad alongside with it. The Mozzarella sticks were decent but had a bit too much breading, which would've been perfect if they had marinara sauce...they did not, kind of a miss on that part. The Mango lemonade to me was the better part of the meal, nice, cool and delicious. That lemonade sure hit the spot. Service was pretty decent, the food arrival took a little longer than I cared for but the food was fresh and hot so can't complain much about timing. Next time around I'll sample their fried chicken, which is what I should've done to begin with really.
