About Andala Coffee House

Andala, the name of the nightingale's song, brings the authentic tastes of the Old City of Jerusalem to Central Square in Cambridge. Andala was created to reverse the trend of 'fast food' coffee shops in America and to bring the culture and tradition of the coffee houses of Old Jerusalem. A warm place where people can socialize in an environment that fosters intimate conversations. At Andala you will find science, history, art, and politics discussed in many languages at any time of the day. Leave your hectic life behind and come relax and enjoy a pot of Arabic Coffee or a delicious Sami's Special Tea and our food made in the tradition and love of Old Jerusalem.

Very well decorated, staff is pretty kind as well. I do hope they introduce some more Chicken Dishes. And when they say Chicken Khalili Sandwich is Spicy, Believe Them!

As mentioned, the place is only partially halal, the menu contains dishes cooked with wine. Otherwise, the place has excellent decoration, very comfortable environment , very welcoming serves, although relatively slow and excellent ment tea.

I tried the turkish coffee and a spinach feta cheese pie. Both were good. The environment is very conducive for those who need to read, study, get online or just hang out. Close to Harvard, Radcliffe, Tufts.

Everything is first class here. The decor, location, service, food, tea, cleanliness, muffins. It is very rare to find such a first class halal place in the US!
