I first went to Haz Restaurant on the first day of Ramadhan last September, but at that time, I did not know of the halal status of their meat (and I did not ask either) and I had confined myself to vegetable dishes and chicken kebab. A few days ago, a friend of mine who knows the owners well assured me that their meat was halal, and we indulged on lamb kababs this time. I am from Turkey and I consider myself a small scale connoisseur of Turkish cuisine, and I must admit that not many places in Turkey can compete with Haz Restaurant; they are that good. The lamb kabab was delicious and tender, with all its glory, and it was mostly due to the fact that the meat was of such supreme quality. It was a pure taste, with no enhancements or make-up through spices or sauce. Highly recommended!

Up market turkish food, very busy on week days, stick to what you know, get experimental and you will end up with Chicken with peaches (as I found out), kebab and meat lovers will enjoy. When you get close to the venue, you will know, just follow the smell of grilled kebab smoke from 200m aways. Very good service, nice decore
