There is a good selection of food, this is a good place to go after your shopping and if you cannot make your mind up about what to eat. I had a chicken Dosa which was fine and my husband had a chicken curry with rice which was a bit bland but generally ok.
Good variety of halal counters (queue up, get your food, pay at checkout, sit down) including Indian/Pakistani (chicken and lamb curries, etc) and Lebanese/Turkish stuff. Prices fairly reasonable too -- around £40-£50 for a family of four which is OK for the West End. Every time we're in Selfridges with the kids we go here.
I highly recommend the walking tour from Baker Street down to Selfridges, it’s a great way to see the city before diving into some world-class shopping. The store itself is a fantastic consortium of premium brands across every segment you can imagine, from clothes and accessories to a massive shoe and perfume selection. The Foodhall is an absolute highlight. I tried the Rose Pistachio cake from EL&N, which was extraordinary. I also had a Chocolate Hazelnut milkshake at Lola’s Cupcakes, it was my first time seeing a cake blended directly into a shake! Such an indigenous and creative concept; it’s a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth.
