I like the food here very much. I lived in Loughborough and purposely travel to Leicester for dinner at Zaytoun. Keep coming back. Remember to make reservation on Saturday night, because the place is jam packed!

Located in the heart of Leicester near St Margaret’s Bus Stop, Zaith and Zathar is a wonderful restaurant. The theme is very cool and gives strong Arabic vibes as soon as you enter. The carefully chosen colours and lighting make you feel like you are in an Arabic country. There are long tables for groups, majlis seating for small families, and space to accommodate around 25–30 people. I really liked the names given to the majlis, such as Bab Al Manama and Bab Al Saudi. The Arabic theme and the chosen fonts match perfectly. The ambience is lovely. The food is delicious and the portion sizes are more than enough. They truly deliver what they promise—whether you order for 2 people or for 10, everyone will be satisfied. The meat was well cooked, the chops were amazing, and the Chicken Al Faham had great flavour. I would rate this as one of the best places for Arabic food in Leicester. The staff were very kind, soft-spoken, and the dine-in service was quick. The only issue we faced was with takeaway due to the restaurant being very busy, but the taste of the food made up for it. If you want to dine with family or a group, I highly recommend trying this Arabic restaurant. You will not regret it. Dining here in such a friendly environment is a great experience.
