Shawarma Palace

The place is there for a long time but didn't get a chance to try it out until recently. I tried shawarma and it was very very good. With the public there on a Saturday morning it seems it is very popular with people from all backgrounds. Definitely recommended.

Apparently same chain as the one on Rideau... No comparison though... Portions are skimpy and just not as tasty as the original palace on Rideau... Wouldn't recommend this place based on this alone.

Hands down my favourite shawarma place in Ottawa. Love the people, love the food, glad to be a regular.

Formerly Shawarma Shack - now called Shawarma Palace ....regardless of the name, still same standards. Very clean, spaceous place. They provide generous portions and don't rush you to order. Tried their chicken and Tikka (meat) - both were delicious! Staff is nice too. Good buy for the buck :)

This is the absolutely best restaurant in the Ottawa area. They serve Shawarmas, kobabs, hamburgers, platters, and more. Good variety, courteous service, nice looking dishes, very nicely presented, wide and bright place, and above all Halal. My family loves the big platters and generous portions, and we go there at least twice-a-month. I personally know the owners .. to the best of my knowledge: everything in that place is Halal.

Messy and Pricey Sandwiches 1. A small sandwich costing almost $15 is too pricey 2. Flatbread for a sandwich shouldn't be used. It's too loose 3. A takeout bag for a sandwich should contain napkins
