We came here on the off chance as we don’t really know Huddersfield. We decided on the £15.95 3 course set menu. The place was empty but we got there early, it’s a little dated inside but the staff are so lovely. The popadom and chutneys weren’t the best, for starters we had onion bahji which wasn’t great but the meat and aloo tiki was lovely, it’s kind of a seasoned mash potatoe deep fried both with side salads. Then for main we had lamb Nawaabi which was absolutely gorgeous and full of flavour and a chicken Achari which was very unusual, different and couldn’t work out what spice but really enjoyable. The peshwari naan was one of my faves - it had pistachios in it i think and was a perfect accompaniment, alongside the pilau rice. We were then offered tea/coffee, hot clothes and a mint chocolate. The staff are so sweet and helpful. We took a doggy bag home as couldn’t manage to eat everything.
