One of my favourite restaurants in London to visit particularly when i'm not sure what to get. Their menu is quite varied and to date all the dishes (I have tried a lot) have been great so quite sad to hear they will be closing in Dec 2013.

Best halal steaks in London. They use good quality Scottish beef. The made to order steaks turn out juicy and flavourful. As you order your meal you get free bread and hummous (saves on starters!). I have always enjoyed eating here. On my last visit I was stunned to discover they serve bacon in their English Breakfast. When I enquired with the waitress (who was very friendly) she couldn't expalin it. Then she checked with the kitchen and I was given the assurance that bacon for breakfast is the only non-halal meat they serve and they use seperate utensils for it. Combine this with the in-your face bar for alcoholic drinks, and I found myself questioning their claims of halal authenticity.

Had an amazing dinner at Le Bab, London with friends. The atmosphere was great, perfect for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. The drinks were excellent, well balanced and refreshing. The kebabs were the real standout — perfectly cooked, full of flavour, and clearly made with skill and attention to detail. Special mention to Asif, whose work in the kitchen truly shows in the quality and consistency of the food. You can tell there is real passion behind the dishes. Overall, we had a fantastic time with great food, great drinks, and great company. Highly recommend Le Bab to anyone looking for top-quality kebabs in London.
