The best local veg shop with lovely staff and a healthy and truly delicious new takeaway lunch counter featuring treats such as homemade fresh falafel (the best!) Chicken croquettes, tasty samosas, kale caesar salad, really gorgeous garlic mushroom and cheese tartlets and tomato ones too, bean salads, tofu wraps, rice bowls, soups, baked potatoes and more. They also have a wide and reasonably priced selection of fruit, veg and herbs and sell Corrie Mains eggs, which is really handy! If you want saaj bread or sourdough or naan too - they have it, along with some nice wee staples and choc/crisps, too. All of the staff are super nice, and I really appreciate their friendliness. Garden Fresh really is the very best kind of local veg shop, so I feel very lucky to have it in the neighbourhood! It's open til 8pm too, which is a bonus! Ditch Tesco and buy here instead - and definitely try out their new lunch offerings, as everything I've tried has been a cut above, and not crazy West end prices either. They are honestly one of the only affordable places left for decent lunch options, so thank you Garden Fresh!!! :)
