Worst medical experience I’ve ever had. Booked for a very intimate, nerve wracking - and honestly embarrassing - procedure. The lead up to the appointment was great, communication good. Was soothed by how clean, calm and professional the surgery looked when I went in. Once in the room to have my procedure, Dr Ahmad was extremely dismissive, ignored my questions multiple times and spoke to his assistant in a different language the entire time, which made me even more nervous and uncomfortable. He also kept eating handfuls of fruit or nuts from a packet throughout, which felt v inappropriate due to the fact the treatment was on my genitals. As it was happening, it was extremely painful (not the Dr’s fault, it is what it is) and I asked a few questions throughout which went completely unanswered and ignored. I was pretty tearful by the end of the procedure but very firmly said I needed him to answer my questions before I left and he did, although v quickly and he was clearly annoyed. I wanted to write a review at the time but honestly couldn’t because I just didn’t want to talk about it. Came out of the clinic and cried all the way home to Edinburgh on the train. Terrible.
