We ordered 40 hkd almond milk turns out simple milk with a crushed almond on top, reatayhas to review what recipe the are good in , South Indian food is better there. Now comes to service we ordered masala dosa and vada idly plate, later one was served one and after 2 reminder 25+m plus comes the dosa, when you complain the argument lady makes is that why you did not say serve together?? Just wow with the rude reply and manager there just ignores!! I went after 3 yrs as experience previously was bad too but to my surprise they did not improve at all!! Not going again.

The food was very delicious. We ordered Jain Thali. The taste was fabulous, just giving 3 stars because of the strange behaviour of the manager who told us to complete our dinner as fast as possible and empty the table as lots of customers were waiting outside. That made us very uncomfortable ! Is it professional behaviour to tell someone like this who is having his dinner ? We have already paid a bill with 10 % of additional service tax and was having our dinner so we have the right to have our dinner peacefully. That's all. Rest everything was fantastic.

I had never imaged how tasty vegetarian food could be until I came to Woodland and I have kept coming back!!! I love the pani puri (mint) and yogurt puri. Literally I could eat ten myself! The dosa (I tried plain dosa), curry of any kind, thali are good and must-try. The drinks are okay and a Lassi is a safe choice. I was scared by the Indian dessert somewhere else but the dessert here could save your confidence. This is not a sponsored review. I hope Woodland will keep doing their job well as always♡

Nice atmosphere and excellent service, though the food was just ok. The chapatti were small and too thin (like a tortilla), the Chana Masala was lackluster in flavor and the Bhindi Masala was only slightly better in spicing. An elegantly dressed man, whom we assume was the owner, took our order. Very old school in that he pushed hard for the upsell. No matter. This is a nice place with lots of happy locals enjoying their meals.

Great Indian food. They have lots of varieties. We have ordered food online and got delivered at the hotel. We ordered chinese veg noodles and north indian thali. Quantity was so good, one north indian thali can be enough for 3 persons but do not forget to order extra chapatis. Sabjis were enough but chapatis, puri were not. So you should order extra. Glad to get quality indian food in hong kong. ??

Great place and delicious vegetarian/vegan Indian food. We had the samosas, papadam, and the signature thalis. All was delicious!! Only the poori was a bit too greasy but all in all we liked it a lot!

We had a lovely dining experience at woodland for authentic south Indian food :) Woodland special Thali , Gobhi Manchurian and filtered coffee was the highlight of our lunch ! Will definitely visit again for tasty food !

Positives & hoodwinking: Good Food & service . Staff is also very friendly and attentive. Caution: Keep 10 % extra budget as your bill from the menu price that you see gets added by 10 % more on the pretext of service charges. You will need to pay HKD 50 EXTRA on a HKD 500 food bill. Recommendation: Pl add this to you menu price or mention this to your guest to avoid getting shock treatment when bill is presented. One star skipped for this reason. Over crowded: The celebrity visits you have posted on your wall are about 2 to 3 decades old.. Don't take your customer for GRANTED ??!! Update: Your arrogant response has got to post an update. Who decides to pay for your service?? Customer right? So let him get , assess and decide to pay for the same. a) Why not write on the top of your menu in bold print that you charge 10 % extra for so called SERVICE that you are charging for ( nothing but hoodwinking the customer who will be embarassed to pay you when you present the bill , since he did not read your FINE PRINT at the bottom of your menu and place his order in good faith!!! ) b) Your actual Menu price in the restaurant is much higher than what you have recently posted here online ( which is attached) . Again a double whammy on the Paying customer! I just tried Sangeeta veg restaurant, your next door neighbour restaurant and they ( and other restaurants I tried, did not charge any service charge). Be fair and update your menu price upwards with 10 % service charges and let the customer absorb it, with a smile. Don't take your customer for GRANTED ??!!
