The food is halal but they still serve alcohol in their drinks fridge so do be careful when buying your food and ensure ur food does not get mixed with the beer.

Serious issue with Alcohol. I saw the lady preparing my wrap and opening bottles of beer with the same hand on the same table. If you are strictly halal, I would avoid unless you don't have a choice. I did tell the manager and he just did not care.

A typical kebab shop. Convenient location and lies just off the main road, hence easy access. Food was ok, nothing stellar. But it is a bit pricey, hence probably expensive to eat on a frequent basis.

A bunch of jokers running this place ! First I order my food then I'm waiting over half an hour for it just a mixed kebab in a wrap ! That's all nothing major then I tell the so called waiter who can barely speak proper English that instead of eating in I'll just take it away as I'm waiting a long time now for my kebab. He then had the cheek to add a 10% service charge to my bill ? As for the kebab there was more salad than kebab I tell you it may be halal but it's not the only place to eat kebab in wan-chai. A complete waste of the time and a proper rip off. Be warned.

GoogleI used to be a regular customer at this Ebeneezer’s branch (Wan Chai 1), visiting almost every two weeks and spending around $1000 HKD each time. The food used to be absolutely delicious, especially the kebabs which I really enjoyed. However, over the past month, the quality has dropped a lot. On 4–5 separate visits, the kebabs were undercooked. I politely mentioned it to the staff, thinking it was just a one-off mistake. But when it kept happening, I gave feedback again, still calmly and respectfully. I told the workers only, didn’t complained to the manager. Since then, the service has become noticeably worse. Staff have started acting rude, and my orders take longer than others, even when I order first. One staff member in particular (a short young thin brown girl who always wears a mask and handles the cooking I believe) has been especially unprofessional. On my last visit, she handed me my takeaway food directly by hand, no plastic bag just like that. It felt like she was showing attitude (I could tell by her behaviour) because I had complained before. She behaves with similar attitude almost everytime ever since I’ve complained to them. The other workers also behave similarly, no smile just an aggressive attitude. I’m really disappointed. If I’m spending $1000 on food that isn’t even cooked properly, am I not allowed to give feedback? I never raised my voice or caused a scene, I just asked for the food to be cooked properly. I used to love this place (once gave a 5star as well), but now I don’t feel welcome anymore. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves both the food quality and customer service.
