About Miss Millie's

Miss Millie's is a family business which has been selling high quality fried chicken for over 30 years - 20 years under the Miss Millie's name. Miss Millie's began when Chairman Harry Latham, who had built up the KFC business in the UK with partner Ray Allen, bought out the franchises for Bristol, Weston-super-Mare and Cardiff. Harry had always maintained close links with Colonel Sanders, and named his new operation after the Colonel's daughter Mildred - so on July 31st 1988, Miss Millie's Fried Chicken opened for business. Mildred, who is a frequent visitor to the UK, still helps and advises the business. Today Miss Millie's is run by Harry's four daughters and has 10 branches across Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare and Cardiff.

It is what it is. A fried chicken shop. The range is more limited than KFC and the fillets taste like Supermarket ones but the chicken nuggets are rather good. This particular branch has had a Halal sticker in the front window for quite some time so not sure about the previous reviewer's confusion. Overall it's not amazing but also not bad.

Miss Millie's is a great fast food chain ... they used to have a Halal Certified Certificate displayed on the counter before which they have removed now, so now it is not 100% confirmed if it is still serving Halal Chicken or not?
