The food was bland, I would recommend choosing something other than Almond chicken. I recommend increasing the flavor so we don't taste plain chicken taste. Overall clean restaurant and nice staff so I will try something else.

Its been one of my #1 restaurants for 3 years now. Their food is always fresh and delicious! Its zabihah halal, and a nice, clean and cozy place. Staff is always friendly. My favorite here is their soup - its out of the world!

Our first time trying this place basically around the corner from my office. It was dinner time, so prices went up. It was a little expensive, but the portions were very generous. The staff was friendly and helpful. The was good, not great, IMHO. My wife however loved it and said it was the best so far. This was a happy find. I\'m looking forward to exploring their menu further.

good food ,very tasty. all chicken and beef entrees are good and worth trying. rice are not basmati but local American.I wish they change their rice. also the service is average if the management pay attention on the front ,there is a black dude on register has a very bad attitude, no customer service at all looks like a statue of liberty and throwing change or card back.Next time I would say something to him.He needs to learn mannersBecause of him I gave 3 stars..Other than that , all other Chinese workers are friendly and courteous.

I asked for the halal cert and I was shown it. Supposedly both chicken and beef is brought from the halal vendor. No pork served here. Food is good. I liked the Jalapeno chicken and the Pad Thai. Stay away from the sushi. It\'s not even worth eating it for free. avocado and salmon in it was stale and plasticky. You could tell by the deformed look that an amateur made it. Price is reasonable.

I went back yesterday for pickup and was actually impressed with the restaurant. I was expecting some run down hole in the wall, which this is not! I went around 1:45 PM on a Friday so there were a few customers, but it seemed like everyone was waiting for pickup. I cannot comment on seated service but the place looked ok. Of course there were stacks of dirty dishes on a few of the tables...which in my opinion, should have been promptly picked up and it would have made the place actually look very decent. To the owners...it's little things like that which will change the negative customer service opinions below. I ordered Szechuan Beef, Szechuan Chicken and Orange Chicken. I did not like the Szechuan Chicken. It was not as advertised (with scallions and spicy) It had chunks of lemon and was overly sweet and not spicy at all. I wonder if I got the wrong item in my order? This seemed more like Lemon Chicken? Anyways, I will be back Insha Allah, and keep trying other items. ********************************************************** So I am a first time Kungpow customer. I ordered off the lunch menu for delivery. Overall, my experience was good and I cant complain since the food arrived to my front door and tasted good. This definitely is a go to place for decent halal Zabihah (not just halal) food. The service was good and the food arrived warm and tasted good. The lunch portions were generous and the pricing was ok but definitely more than other Chinese restaurants in the area. The delivery was late due to an accident but I was okay with this because KPAD was good about calling me up and keeping me informed of the delay and the new expected delivery time. Even after this, I will stick to delivery based on comments below about eating at the restaurant. I tried the Orange chicken, Szechuan Beef and Sesame chicken this time around and liked all three. I am definitely up to ordering different things on the menu and trying more out. Good luck to KPAD!

Solid halal american-style chinese food - reasonably priced, portions are large, and the service excellent (they actually paced our meal, e.g. waiting until we had finished the soup before bringing out the appetizers, which was great because we received everything hot and fresh). We tried the sesame chicken, happy family, and mongolian beef all of which had a nice flavor and were distinct from one another. I most enjoyed their lemon pepper wings though which I dipped in Sriracha - delicious!

THE BEST. Mongolian beef in town. Preggo approved. The wife and I went there three times in one week and each time couldn't get enough. Awesome food, great service and great portions. Highly recommend it. Very flavourful.

It's authentic Chinese food with plenty of choices but I must say it's one of those Chinese restaurants where every dish pretty much tastes the same. I agree with some of the other reviewers that the taste is a little on the bland side. Overall I would say the restaurant isn't bad but not great either just somewhere in between.

Food is good and price is what you would pay anywhere else. I eat here becuase its halal. Its Chinese food, not "Indo-Chinese". No complaints but this is not high end food. I would eat again. They deliver within 5 miles free.

We went there last weekend. If you are looking for 'non-desi' halal chinese restaurant , its a great choice. We ordeted mandarin chicken, spicy beef and chicken and prawns dishes. However, if you like desi chinese food, its not what you are looking for. Its great to have zabihah chinese food, but i do wish we had desi chinese restarant ( zabihah halal ) in dallas metroplex.

I was visiting Dallas and found this place from this website. I will say it is true authentic chinese food. Ordered the beef & broccoli, sweet & sour chicken and kung pao chicken. All were fantastic and you can choose white or brown rice. Nice and clean interior for dining in or you can order for carry out as well.

i was skeptic of a chine's place to be hallal, Spatially that the owner isn't muslim, but true it is hallah all of the food, so it was very exciting to have & it was soo good, really tasty, & the nice story about it is that a lot of people when they come in & want to order ask if they have hallal meat, they say no, after a wile the owner side what is this hallal meat, lets get it for our customers, & they started getting hallal meat, so sweet, subhan allah really hallal tast better & so good, but really it is really good. its a shame we where gust visiting.

Kung Pow Asian Diner. All dishes can be modified so you can ALWAYS tell them less salt, less oil, etc. and it's not possible for the table to covered in layers of grease, it is probably from the clorox spray/chemical cleaner which we can always try to re-wipe a table for you! Thanks for your review!

My husband and I have been hooked on their chicken lo mein for a few weeks now. The best part: they DELIVER! Sesame Chicken is also good, and hot and sour soup. Hope to try more soon. I wouldn't recommend the egg rolls though, they were a bit dry and had no taste (like a raw cabbage/bean spouts taste). Quick service and friendly staff :)

HealthyEater's quality scale (1-10): Taste: 7 Oil content: Medium Quality of ingredients: 8 Menu Variety: 9 Overall Quality of Food: 7 Service: 8 Cleanliness: 5 Decor: 7 Recommended by HealthyEater: Yes Remarks: I have been eating here for years (even before it became a Halal-Zabiha establishment). Staff are friendly and efficient. Delivery time is very quick, whether eating in or ordering delivery. The kitchen appears to be very clean. The quality of the food could be better, but overall it is OK. My only complaints are that there is too much oil and salt in the food (above average for contemporary Chinese cuisine), and if eating in, the tables and chairs are covered in a layer of grease. The restrooms are clean. Overall, Healthyeater recommends this establishment and is looking forward to more avant-garde dishes offered in the future.

Good Chinese food - also does some sushi, and I believe Thai. Now this isn't exactly a high end place, but for the price the food is great. Let me put it this way - ever wanted to grab quick to go Chinese and are sick of always eating shrimp? This is the place! Like panda express but annoyed at the limited choices? This is a great alternative! Can also request spicy, and it's convenient to all those that live in east Plano Murphy. I tried a few of the more popular items - usual Chinese fare, and was satisfied.

The meat might be Halal, but the food and service is terrible. We should always follow the warnings because they are there for a reason. I Saw the sign ‘No refund and No exchange’. I should have taken it seriously. I ordered Kong Pow ? and Hot & Sour Soup, damn! it was so salty, both. I was going to use soy sauce, but after one bite, I wanted to ask for it to be fixed, but then I remembered the sign. The service is another problem. We can’t just order and go sit on the chair, you must pay in advance. The guy who took my order had very attitude. I ordered soup first and wanted look at the for my next choice while they make it, but he kept bugging me to order more. I wanted to take my family, but I will not go back again.

They dont have a proper halal certification. The one they showed me it was validated 2018 - 2019 that’s set. There’s no very recent update. I bought it for $72 foods for itself but turns out I’ve given away to someone else. Absolutely no to this restaurant!

The first time I went there I had a good experience, so I decided to order again. I ordered the same thing this time except with no onions or bell peppers. I didn’t ask or expect extra meat, I just know how I like my food so that’s why I was specific with my order. They did not put the bell peppers and onions like I had asked. Instead they basically put a small box full of celery and something else with the chicken (but mainly the celery). And there really wasn’t any flavor to the food this time either. I added the photo just so people know that I’m not exaggerating a whole small box of celery in my food. I basically paid over $10 for celery and rice smh.

Kung Pow was absolutely disgusting. The atmosphere is horrendous and the service is horrible. There is nothing good about this place. I got the hot and sour soup, which they claimed to be their best item. Which tastes like ?. It looks like the world's worst masoor ki daal. Do not come here at all, it's a waste of your money.

Was good. The store needs to change its posted hours - 3 times now we have tried to order dinner around 8:10. The online ordering is shutdown and no one picks up. Did a drive by to try and order in person each time and the lights are out and they are closed.

The owner hovered over his notebook at the table leading to the restroom. He was constantly blowing his nose into a crumpled tissue. Then he stood up and served our orders to our table. Then he went behind the counter and wiped his hands with a sanitizer. How thoughtful! How disgusting!! Under new management now and slightly lower doses of hoisin and soy sauces.
