Hakka Village

Another Hakka restaurant among the dime and dozen around the GTA. Nothing great about the food or the service.

So I went in...they have a Buddha Idol on the front counter, alcohol at the back, a Maneki Neko aka Lucky Cat doll, and to top it off a picture of Jesus and Mary. I felt uncomfortable with so much religious symbols at the same time, so I can't say I will go back.... However, the menu says 100% halal.

food was good, however, i didn't find server to be too friendly...basically gave my food and left, and sat down reading the newspaper....

Best Hakka youre going to get in my opinion. Really fresh ingredients. Very Hearty food. A little out of the way, but anytime im around I go for it. Try bombay chicken, crispy beef, chilli fish, etc.
