Well hands down this is the best Indian restaurant we have visited and we have been to a lot over the years. Not only for the buildings history, but as soon as you walk in the inside is so lovely and the staff are there ready to greet you and we were seated straight away. The menu was as expected very traditional but the execution was on another level with flavours and freshness and plentiful portion sizes. The butter chicken that our son ordered was absolutely amazing not a bit of cream in sight and you could actually taste the butter and the chicken was tender the entire dish was delicious. I had a lamb dish and again cooked to perfection and the different rice dishes we had were lovely and also the nan breads were fluffy and fresh and very tasty. We couldn't eat it all but they were happy to let us take it away and the prices were very reasonable as well. The place was buzzing and the atmosphere was great. The staff were wonderful as well.
