Absolutely LOVE this place! Have come here two or three times with my dad, and we enjoy it just as much every time.
Not good at all. It's the only halal Resturant in St. John's. Never recommend it to any body. Average price per dish is approx. $15 which is quite high compared to the quality of food. Ordered a chicken Biryani and it we really bad. When I asked for raita, they told me to buy yogurt an have it with Biryani.
I have been there 2 or 3 times for dinner. I have mixed feelings about the restaurant. The first time I went there, the food was cold but tasty. I had some Chicken Tikka with rice and vegetables which was good. The second time, I went there with some classmates. I had "Lahori Karahi" which was not too bad. I was however disappointed the third time. I ordered Butter chicken which I brought to eat home. For some reason, the taste was not good and I found it unusual because I was satisfied when I went to eat there before. I had to re-cook the butter chicken and added some spices to make it taste good. I have been buying halal meat there as well and its great that they have a large variety of grocery. The 5kg boneless chicken was however expensive at $75.
This is a true 'home cuisine' environment. The owner, Imran Dar, and his family have made this a special place for those seeking a 100% halaal restaurant in St. John's with excellent food.
Strongly recommended, excellent variety of Indian/Pakistani dishes, good customer service, if anyone visiting St. John's should go to this restaurant. Moreover food portion was good too!
First time visited there. It happens to be the ONLY halal restaurant in town. Owner was a very friendly and good muslim. Food was freshly prepared; and I find the food better than typical desi restaurants. Would definitely go back, as there was flovour of house-made food from backhome.
This place 100% zabihah beef meat. So feel free to consume their various delicacies of beef items. It is a great addition to the city's south asian cuisine choices-- and did I mention 100% zabihah beef meat?!
