I visited Charcos recently, and I had quite a disappointing experience. I saw the chef drop a piece of chicken on the floor, and despite initially claiming he’d put it in the bin, it appeared back in the tray. When I requested my chicken well done, it arrived undercooked, and instead of addressing my concern, the chef just told me he had 25 years of experience—something I found dismissive and rude. To top it off, the coleslaw had a strong sour smell, as if it wasn’t fresh. Overall, I expected better standards of hygiene and customer care.
