We are a local NY and NJ family owned and operated small business. For last 15 years we have specialized in making delicious, flaky, savory traditional hand stretched Phyllo dough pies called Burek along with all traditional Homemade pastries. Burek is a traditional Baklan specialty dish that is made with various fillings and rolled into different shapes and sizes.

I just contacted the 1-888-GO-BUREK line and asked if this chain was halal. They stated they do not use pork but the meat is not halal.
