Per April 10, 2011 GBK website, the chicken used for burgers is Halal and is cooked in 100% rapeseed oil in a fryer specified for chicken only, however the grilled chicken used for salads and kebobs are cooked on the same grill as the bacon. The beef, lamb, and venison are not Halal. GBK does not offer halal Grilled Chicken as an option.

GoogleCame in at around 6:30pm and was greeted by the lovely Tia. I didn’t have enough time to eat in unfortunately but I decided to submit a takeaway order. She was very insightful, well versed about the menu and friendly. I had a wonderful experience waiting for my food, the other staff members were quite friendly also, I was met with smiles across the room. Tia is hardworking, dedicated and well versed. Thank you lakeside! I ordered the Satay Bomb Chicken Burger with a side of 3 tenders with the baconnaise sauce. (I highly recommend both)
