GoogleI was expecting a fresh looking, exciting and vibrant kitchen style restaurant. Instead it just looks like a dated cafe if I'm honest. I was ushered to a seat but not told how the ordering system worked so we just sat and waited until finally after 10 minutes went and placed our order (which I don't mind but its good to be told to order at the bar). I've never been anywhere that offered free peanuts.. I'm not sure I like that yet but maybe I'll warm to it. The menu was very sparse for a "gourmet kitchen," the most exciting choice for me was the buffalo burger but having had buffalo quite a few times I was expecting something with.. taste! This was bland and boring served with a meagre morsel of salad which barely deserved the name. The fries (tiny ones) are amazing! I'd happily have some of those again. But you pay extra for sides, its not included in your £10.50 buffalo burger. Neither is a free re-fill for your £2.50 drink - and although its in an authentic glass bottle I'd happily have paid for a cheaper refillable glass of coke! The restaurant is just too scruffy, dated and sterile to feel like you're actually eating anywhere worth the price! I understand the company now belongs to nandos but they need to do a lot more to live up to the family name. The atmosphere was terrible, its a good job I didn't bring friends otherwise I think we would all need a pick-me-up afterwards. AVOID and go somewhere cheaper, nicer, cleaner and more atmospheric.
