GoogleFrom the first few seconds of stepping into the store all I could hear were staff roaring at the top of their voices at the self service tills ‘cash or card!!’, I could hear their constant shouting whilst shopping throughout the store and I couldn’t wait to get out. Sainsburys really need to rethink the self-service till layout, it just doesn’t work, lots of open tills at the end were not being utilised. The Walthamstow store is much bigger and busier and I’ve never seen that sort of chaos! Also the salad shelves are really ridiculous, they are built so that the bottom shelf slants at an outwards angle and the higher shelves are at a gradually more inward angle, this makes the top shelf totally inaccessible if you’re not a tall person especially as there’s a glass barrier in the top shelf - so annoying!
