Very tasty food and a great choice when in Reading town centre. Only downside is it's own popularity: you might have to wait for your order and/or seating for a while during busy periods. The peri peri chicken is second to none, and the gourmet burgers are also excellent!
This is very nice and clean place with great Zabihah Portuguese food. Service is good and the prices aren't too bad.

I lived in Reading for seven years, and Rooster Piri Piri has always been one of my personal favorites. From my very first year in the city, I fell in love with their grilled chicken wings. No matter what others might say, I’ve always enjoyed the flavors here. The Mexican-style seasoning is outstanding — full of spice and character — and the tangy, sour-and-spicy option is another one I particularly recommend. The taste is consistent, satisfying, and something I kept coming back for throughout my time in Reading. Now that I’ve left the city, this place will always be part of my fond memories. If you enjoy bold flavors and well-prepared grilled chicken, I would definitely recommend giving Rooster Piri Piri a try.
