I wouldnt say this is the best. ok place average food, ok priced, im prety sure this is part of a chain, they also have one in slough.

Excellent place for fried chicken. They also have really good fish and chips. The service was really good and the place is neat and clean. Prices are not too bad either.

The best Mr Cod in Reading hands down. Their chips are always perfect, and the sauces bang. Always recommend it. Boss man is always so lovely and welcoming. Love it, and will be coming back soon.
