Garden Halal Meat

This is a typical Middle Eastern convenience store + restaurant that also happens to have some fast food options. The convenience store is in the basement and the restaurant on the first floor. The ambiance is poor but about par with similar establishments. Service is particularly poor, especially if you come during rush hour. There were two people serving when I went there around noon but one of them seemed to be cooking something in the backdrop and not actually contributing to service. The other lady was working pretty fast but it was obvious it wasn\'t a one person job with the load they had. Having said that, the food is fantastic. I got a chicken plate with rice and vegetables and it was all delicious. I actually could have just had the vegetables they were that good. The taste should also work well for most palettes, not bland but not too spicy either. I will definitely be visiting this place again despite the aforementioned issues but will probably try to avoid lunch time rush.

I'm not sure if everything is halal here. I couldn't get a satisfactory answer, so i just ordered veggie toppings. It was average.

One of the few places where you can get Halal Pizza. Their sandwiches were also very good. Give it a try.

Was passing by through the farmer's market after getting papers done at the RMV and realized this is a hub for many North Africans aroud the area due to the supermarket (downstairs) having a lot of products from the MENA region and the restaurant (upstairs) having good North African food. The staff are very respectful, caring, and friendly. The products and food are good quality and very affordable. It’s a humble Algerian family-owned business that truly serves the community. The uncle at the cashier smiles in your face and gives you a handful of candy for free in your grocery bag, the auntie puts very generous portions for you in your couscous plate (available only on Fridays), these are personality traits that are rare to find in Boston. Anytime I'm in this area, I will be sure to pass by them.

The food is good especially, Pizzas are so delicious. But need deep clean, so dirty. Bad example for other culture people when they visit (it's in downtown). The toilet faucet can be fixed for $50. Just look at YouTube and change buy yourself. Tables are so oily.

When I lived in Boston, I came to their basement Haymarket located Arabic store often. Meats, fish, spices, sweets, homemade flat bread, etc. I went there again 10 days ago and it still has it all. This place is a Boston treasure. Always friendly employees. You should check it out.

DO NOT let first impressions fool you! A gem of a place whether you're looking for halal food or just a foodie looking for their next best spot!?? We tried the chicken sub(big enough for 2 of us!) and it was reasonably priced and DELICIOUS! Would highly recommend! Staff were nice and cool prepared the sub with a lot of care. I would definitely go back! (The bakery items downstairs weren't really super good though) They only accept cash on the top floor and you have to go downstairs to pay with a card, and they only take card on orders more than 10$.

It’s a small cafe like restaurant but their food is delicious. I don’t like the bread they give with soup and platter , I get a chapati instead. I get chicken breast platter and soup occasionally there. chicken is always tender and delicious.

Friendly staff and delicious homemade North African, food reasonably priced. They also offer Couscous with beef, chicken or vegetarian every Friday. And downstairs they have a Halal market with a wide range of pastries including a butcher and fishmonger.
