Looking for that smooth spicy and authentic weekend curry? Look no further! Raj serves up a whole bodied range of Indian classics, hot and very fresh the food does not disappoint. With the option of changing the spicy levels to your taste all types of curry foodies will be delighted. I tried the chicken korma which ranked as one of the creamiest I have had the pleasure of tasting. The portion sizes were perfect and the key ingredient of warm fluffy naan bread topped off a lovely meal. On the downside poppadom fans may be let down slightly by the staleness that I encountered however the mango chutneys etc made up for this. The restaurant is on the small side but the coziness you feel and the community feel of the service (family run maybe?) makes you feel like getting the Asian experience spot on!

GoogleRaj of India is a solid spot if you’re after flavourful Indian cuisine. I really enjoyed the wide variety of curries, naan, and grilled dishes — everything was well-seasoned and satisfying. The curries had just the right amount of heat: spicy enough to be exciting, but still balanced so you can taste the richness of the sauce. The lamb was a standout, tender, juicy, and cooked just right. Combined with fluffy naan and some well-charred tandoori grills, it made for a very satisfying meal. The portion sizes are generous too, so you definitely get great value for money. The only slight downside was the wait time for our food. They kindly brought out some crispy papadums while we waited, but it still felt a little long. That said, once the food arrived, it was absolutely worth it. Definitely a place I’d return to when I’m craving good Indian comfort food!
