Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. Per March 23, 2011 conversation with restaurant, chicken and lamb are halal.
The Mughal influence on Indian food is immense. Mughlai cuisine is one of the most richest, popular and lavish cuisines in the country. They are pretty spicy and have a unique fragrance. Usually go there for their lunch buffet. Good items and the food tastes good. Very nice service I should say. Overall I like going there.
We had gone with friends and were pleasantly surprised. The reason I say surprised is because initially we found the service to be weak. After the food arrived though, both the service and food was great!
Went to this place and I thought it was a fast food restaurant but it comes out ayce Indian buffet. Food is delicious and service is really good. Staff is really attentive always want to make sure everything is good. Soft drink is included in the price, they will serve you a thin pancake filled with potato and it is DELICIOUS! Definitely will return and highly recommend!
It was great dinning in! I’m personally a student, and have night classes. This was a great option for dinner. Authentic Indian Cuisine for reasonable price. They also have a lunch menu until the evening for $13-16 (all you can eat.) I’ll be coming back, thanks!
We went to this Indian restaurant in Winter park, FL for lunch today suggested by one of our friends and It was absolutely worth driving one and half hours to try their food. The lunch buffet had a variety of veg and non veg items..the place was clean, well organized and beautiful! We would love to go again to eat here..would recommend anyone who is going to Orlando area to try this place especially during weekends.. Dosa and Naan are also served on the side together with buffet..and there was no charge for our 7 year old so I believe kids eat free!! ?
Authentic tasting Excellent South Indian food. What went: Pleasing Ambiance - art work portraying culture heritage of Kerala Fast, pleasant and responsive service. Recommend Chicken 65, Chicken biriyani and kizhi parotta. Plenty of parking space. What could be better: 1) Bathroom is clean but standards could be improved. 2) Food portions sizes are huge and price matches the portion size. I am sure there will be many tourists who can't take leftovers. Maybe a combo option with smaller portion size and more variety at same or reduced price will provide more value to customers. 3) Not a must have but nice to have customer wish: Main meal Idilis and dosas would be great ? I would revisit on my next visit. I recommend this place for its authentic South Indian food experience.
Had a really great experience! The chicken tikka masala and mutton sukka were excellent. Our server Celso really made our night.
Decent Indian buffet during lunch that has some vegetarian options that aren't typically seen at a buffet, but nothing really stood out. The butter chicken was also a weird pink-ish color. Reasonable prices and staff are attentive enough. Probably won't be back because there are better Indian buffet options in Orlando.
Amazing experience! Service was excellent, food exceeded expectations and tasted even better the next day! Cute atmosphere, very intimate and wasn’t overly crowded. Our server was on it, and the drinks were never empty…. I’ve passed this restaurant for over three years and I regret it, don’t sleep on this establishment and bring your friends. Hats off! Great Job. P.S. prices are more than fair.
Wonderful! Simply wonderful! The layout was neat, a lot like a diner, and felt very familiar. Our server was impeccable, as he tended to our orders and filled our waters quite efficiently. We had vegetable samosas for our appetizer, and I must admit that this rivals my Seychellois family’s home cooking, they were by far the best samosas that we have had outside of our household! I have ordered the Ennai Kathirikkai, a staple for authentic Indian food, and oh boy was it delicious! We can tolerate it, but make sure that you get this mild if you can’t handle your spices, but if you are adventurous then medium is just right! Afterwards we were complimented with mango mousse, which was delicious! Easy Five Stars, and a new regular for my family!
