I\'m so glad I found this place. I got their pide (like a calzone/pizza) with turkey pepperoni and one with pastrami - both were excellent especially if you like pizza, meat, cheese, etc. Also got their kofte plate which was better than the kefta at most Arab places.
Excellent food, Excellent service. Will definitely return and recommend to my friends.
Ordered two different kind of pide, rib eye steak and kofte sandwiches, loved everything, need to come back to try everything else, highly recommended.
Cab place with higher end prices. 24h open is a plus. Owners are muslims. Parking is not free. Paid streetside parking
Amazing sandwiches everything freshly prepared very good value for money...
Open 24/7- typical cab driver soccer fans restaurant. Daily specials for 10 bucks. Original turkish tea, toasts, breakfast and like-homemade meals. Good for a quick stop - not family friendly...always stop by when I am close
When we get there the restaurant was booked for a wedding so we had to eat outside while it’s cold and there wasn’t enough outside heaters. Out of 10 my ratings: Lahmacun 7 Manti 9 Beyti 9 Iskender 8 Ayran9
It’s a small Turkish Halal cafe. I believe it’s independently run by an individual family ( just a guess) they have few different soups I enjoyed the one I ordered but I want to try the rest as well. Their entree seems good too but I ordered from the grill section- didn’t like them much it was missing some kind of dipping sauce although it wasn’t bad for a ribeye taste. Also, I was kinda little iffy about halal logo not found in the menu. I think it’s city of Chicago thing not to display I guess but as a consumer of Halal food choices I would like and want to see the halal logo sign on their menu. The Turkish tea is a no for me . Overall Soup was superlicious ribeye was okay and Turkish tea was a no but the bread served was freshly baked and was perfectly spongy will definitely revisit. Keep in mind it’s a paid parking by the street and not that many spot shops
The food is decent, certainly tastes fresh and it's a great price, especially the lunch special. I had the chicken korma and beef samsa. The taste was alright, pretty salty. I have a feeling other items on the menu would be a lot better and I may give it another try.
I ate adana kebab wrap. It had ketchup and mayonnaise. I didn’t like it. Probably i wont get again from here ? Traditional one is more savory style. Otherwise they bring to the Turkish tea. It was sooooo good like really original.
Best doner I’ve had in the states. Perfectly cooked chicken, fresh rice and vegetables.
Went there last week, and the service was terrible. A long wait time and doesn’t feel like a place to eat at. The food was very basic and low-quality. I don’t suggest this place at all for Central Asian cuisine…
The food was delicious and warm (doesn't have tons of over spice). Service was awesome. They served hot bread with butter that was finger licking (we got the leftovers to go ?) price was relatively cheap tho. Sorry for the messy table pic. Highly recommend.... Definitely come back. Thanks guys
“A Must-Visit Spot for Delicious Desserts!” I had a wonderful experience at iCafe! The dessert was absolutely delicious—perfectly caramelized on top with a smooth, creamy texture inside. The presentation was simple yet elegant, and the taste did not disappoint. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive.
