Verbal assurance from management that ALL meat EXCEPT the bacon is halal.

Nice little shop in Financial District. Verbal assurance from staff that (only) the Lamb/Beef Gyro meat is halal. Otherwise plenty of vegetarian options. I usually get the Lamb/Beef Super Gyro with hot sauce which is a huge wrap and will fill you up. Edit: 3 stars now. Quality has been inconsistent. Still a decent place to get a quick bite.

TLDR: huge plate of quality Mediterranean food for under $15 in the FiDi! I came here ordering takeout and the plates averaged around $13. I got the mixed combo plate and though it didn’t come with rice, it came with beef and chicken, hummus, salad, bread, falafel and dolma which were all great! Service was friendly, food came out quickly and I even got some hot sauce with my dips! Would definitely come back

Made an online order for a couple of people around lunchtime and the food was ready in about 30 minutes despite the lunch rush. Food was fresh and seasoned well. The fries and falafel were fried to perfection. Prices were also very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Will definitely be coming back for lunch whenever I'm in FiDi.

As a Londoner transplant who used to enjoy the great offerings of falafel wraps back home - this is by far the best one I’ve had in SF. Will definitely come back.

Delicious food: as a foreigner I was fed up with sandwiches and pizzas ?. The service is quick. Prices are cheap regarding the area. Excellent location: Mechanics monument Plaza just in the corner, so I could eat outside in the sun.

March 2023: This gem of a place is still here, post pandemic (if there is such a thing), and their service and food is top notch! Please drop by and show some love, chicken salad comes with a lot of protein and is fairly priced for the area. Old review: I had a hunkering for Mediterranean-style cooked meat and fries. This place hit that spot. Located in FIDI on Battery (between Pine and Battery/Bush intersection). Went at noon and the place was busy but not overwhelmingly so. Slight wait for my food after ordering but that's expected at noon. Food was good and reasonably priced. Ordered the Greek plate with chicken. Came with a bunch of fries, meat, a big dollop of tzhiki (sp?) sauce and some pita bread. It was good. I'll be back to try a salad next time. 3.6 stars that rounds up to 4 stars for the service.

I placed an order through Forkable and their food was amazing. Flafals were fresh and slightly spicy, humus and bread were all fresh and delicious.
