Bennys Chicken

Like most chicken and pizza places, Benny's don't excel in any one particular thing. And to be honest, you only go to Benny's because Maryland is full or if you wallet is almost as empty as your stomach. Although, it's not for lack of trying as Benny's do have quite a reasonable selection of foods: paninis, pizzas, wraps, burgers etc. Their prices aren't too bad either. Although the adage of you get what you pay for holds true for this particular take out: quality is not on par with nearby competition (of which there is a ridiculous amount just across the street!) I can't really recommend anything in terms of taste (as literally anywhere else is better) but price wise it is dirt cheap. 2/5

First fried chicken place in the UK that I did not enjoy, it is cheap like the others but not as tasty.

We had a great experience at Benny’s. The chicken was really good, and my children absolutely loved it. The taste was really nice — especially the chicken strips, their flavour was top-notch. The French fries were very fresh and crispy, which we really enjoyed. Compared to our previous visit, there’s been a big positive change. The Granby Street branch, which we visited, has been renovated. It’s very spacious, and the hygiene standards are excellent. The interior looks neat and tidy, and everything was very clean. The staff were really friendly, and the hospitality was great. Prices are very reasonable, and they have some really good combo deals. Overall, it was a happy and satisfying dining experience, and I would definitely recommend this place for budget-friendly meals. Benny’s has three branches located in the city centre — Granby Street, Churchgate, and Belgrave Street — making it a convenient spot to stop by anytime. We’re already looking forward to visiting again.
