Easy access. Parking available. Halal American food. Chicken was really good. Nice, fresh, crispy outside and moist inside.
A typical fried chicken spot with one above average menu item. The CALZONES are big, filled with meat and cheese, and a great deal for only $4.50. Check out our full review with pictures here.
We found this place just down the street from our hotel, right across from the Newark Airport. The menu is incredible! They serve up a wide variety of food and fried items. But that's not all, they have cakes, pies, prepared salads, fruits, juices, all offered in easy to eat portions...you name it, they probably have it including a full breakfast menu! Everything was tempting. But we came for New York-style pizza and it does not disappoint. We bought by the slice and later regretted not bringing a whole pie back to our room. I had two large slices of peperroni and cheese (more then enough to fill me), Kelly had a veggie slice they added some pepperoni to. Both were slam-dunk home runs! Prices are VERY reasonbale, value is great, the food is delectible and the folks behind the cunter are most gracious. The vibe inside is just perfect for what is being served up, There is outside seating as well. We will be back!
The food was good. It is Halal which is a good option. Rice was well done. Chicken and white sauce was very tasty. Falafel was not very authentic, could be better. Near the airport which is amazing. Opens 24 hours which is exceptional. Recommended
First time here a customer service was good inside is small you can eat in of dine out. I got a 5 piece fish and fries with beef patty. The fish was not seasoned and it was bland the fries were good and patty was not good. This is a good place to stop by if your hungry and need a quick cheap lunch
The food used to be good but it has seriously gone downhill over the years. On my most recent visit I was super disappointed with the quality of the food. The fries were dried out the sandwich was falling apart like the bread was old. Even the beanpie had no expiration date on it and it did not taste good. The food costed about 50.00. We will not be returning anymore.
Lots and lots to choose from. I think it's 24 hours. Saw may be 20-30 customers rotate within 15 mins I was there ( I ordered alot). They had more than 7 people working and serving so customer service was great.
Rushed to work this morning without eating breakfast so my appetite felt big lol. Just ordered the French Toast breakfast platter with Beef bacon, scrambled eggs & home-fries. The portions are more than enough and everything was Tasty. It’s a plus that the food is Halal and the service was exceptional. Thank you!
Tired and weary from a 4 hr flight, we got into Newark at 12am. We asked the, at first, grumpy car rental lady if she wanted to go eat with us at White Castle. “OMG, they’re traaaash now,” she said to our horror. She recommended this place and bless her, with her now cheerful disposition (I assume it was because I offered to beat anyone who was rude to her). Being from Arizona, we were not prepared for the treacherous journey to satiate our hunger. But we did conquer the wild roads at now 1am. We were greeted by a cheerful cashier who took our order, thinking nothing of our disheveled looks. We peered around and it had come up that we were from out of state, tired, hungry and terrified of the parking situation we had just faced. We didn’t order the chicken, but had we known it was the best dish on their menu, we would have! He brought us out complementary chicken with some biscuits. My partner and I ravaged the piping hot food and it wasn’t the best fried chicken we had had because we were hungry, but because it was moist, crunchy and flavorful. Thank you! We worried that NJ would be full of creeps, but our first meeting was such a pleasant one, it filled not just our bellies, but our hearts.
Let me say that the guys here are great. The customer service is always A1, and the aroma of chicken is unmatched. Never a super long wait when we go. They season up the food perfectly and give good portions. Also see how much they work hard for food delivery drivers. One day they were kind of behind on an order so they hooked up the DoorDash guy with some food. Can’t get any better than that. Parking is limited but street parking on 1&9 or side street is usually open. Thank me later.
